Goodmorning, I wish to know how the product is configured once it is bought, that is if i by this NETOP NB-IOT CURRENT SENSOR what are the steps i need to follow before it start functioning?. Also since am in Italy, I wish to know if the device will also function here?
Answer : Hello, Let us try to answer your question with 2 parts: 1.) If you can share your UDP server information we can set the settings for you and send the sensors to you. So you do not need to do anyting. It is a real plug and play. You can use them just insterting a simcard into it. 2.) Or as you know to use NB-IoT you need sim card which you will insert into the devices. And almost all GSM operators have different APN settings. At this point if you buy a configuration tool (hardware and software) and due to this configuration tool you can set/change any network settings you want such as IP adress, UDP port, data transmission period, etc. So you will be able to change any settings by yourself very easily. It means that you can use our sensors with any sim card and change network settings by yourself and the devices could be used in so many GSM operators' sim card by changing these settings. Thank you to contact us. Best Regards, NetOP Team
